I’m Barry W. Morris, Baz to my friends. It’s a nickname I picked up in 1976 when, as a young lad of 18, I lived in Hexham, a centuries-old town in Northumberland, England.
I’m a writer and consultant, but this site is devoted to my love of motorcycling and all that falls under that rather vague, umbrella-like topic,including bikes, gear, riding, safety, and anything else that comes to mind.
Motorcycling has been a passion ever since I learned to ride as a young teen. At age 15 I attended Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah and rode the infamous black line (albeit unofficially) and Click Here Now to Read my Latest Post.
Depending on when you visit this site, there may be little or a lot to view. It’s now February 2015 and I’m just getting it started. Regardless, I’m glad you stopped by and I hope you’ll return.
It's now May 2016 and I'm just finding my way back to this site. I'm sorry for the long hiatus, but life has away of intervening with the best-laid plans. In June, I'm going to be riding from San Jose, California to Anderson, South Carolina with my son, Benjamin. I recently gave him the R1100RT pictured below. He's flying out at the beginning of June and on the 5th we ride east! Updates to follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
